Poll: What's the desktop version of Hammer going to be called?

since they already released an Athlon 4, it kinda makes sense to me that it will be called Athlon 5 (Athlon 5 must be better than Pentium 4, right?).....either that or some variant of Athlon 64

i REALLY hope they don't come up with another dumb name (i don't really care for Opteron too much)

EDIT: yes, i know they said it would retain the Athlon name....but i'm sure they're going to put some new spin on it to make it sound better than both the old Athlon XP and the Pentium 4

The live AMD interview stated the clawhammer will retain the Athlon name.

I don't think they would name it Athlon 64. That reminds me too much of the Nintendo 64, which isn't a name that is related with performance.

Athlon XP fortified with 64 bits. :)

Probably Athlon 64. You know 64 is probably in there someplace.

i wouldnt put too much fate in a cool name coming out from AMD's PR department :)

It depends, what will the 64-bit Windows be named? Win XP, Athlon XP...

xyz XP/64 sounds very reasonable to me btw. [xyz == Windows || Athlon]
