I've seen this question come around, with no polls. Might as well start one.
So whats the best oc'able chip, the 2.4c, 2.6c, 2.8c, 3.0c, or 3.2c?

Highest GHZ, we all know 2.4c wins for highest FSB oc. Im looking for Highest total GHZ

but thats gotta be quite rare

i think a part of the reason why you saw the 2.4@3.6 is cuz they are bought more cuz they are the cheapest so you get more results

ok well, how about this, the chip with the most mhz oc. a 2.4 to 3.6, thats 1200mhz :eek:

Highest % increase from stock would be a 2.4C or 2.6C...hence the question...

BTW, the VAST MAJORITY of 2.4C's will not get to 3.6 GHz. Neither will any other P4C. There are always rare cases.

but the ones that can get to 3.6 may require additional vcore ...

mine boots into windows at 3.6 ghz but pretty much fails 1 x prime in about 15 minutes...

i'm afraid to try a higher vcore in fear of SNDS ... but i can't complain about a 1.1 ghz overclock :)

2.6C @ 3.25GHZ on stock voltage (1.5v), I haven't even finished playing around with her yet.
