I'd be paying extra money for the All-In-Wonder part, about 100 dollars extra.

Why would I pay 100 dollar more when I could get similar performance from the 6800 Ultra.

Plus, if I really needed the TV Tuner, I would rather buy it seperately because if a time will come where the X800 is gonna suck at games, if no All-in-wonder is available, then you will lose you TV Tuner and you may be spending another 100 dollars for the same piece.

I'd take the 6800gt and get another solution for the features the AIW card would have (like others have mentioned)

That way when you need to upgrade, you don't have to constantly stay on the AIW path.

AIW X800XT for me. I think its probably the finest AGP card: not far from the fastest, definately the best looking, and a top feature set for not much more than a regular X800XT.

I've you already have both cards, you're sure to get more moolah for the X800.

SM3 is a POS in box with a guarantee on it.

SM3 is worthless right now, by the time its used, 6 series will probably be to slow. I would keep the AIW if you have both cards, its the OBVIOUS choice, keeping the ultra is stupid imo, same performance exept the AIW has more features.

I would definitely also. ATI AIW X800XT

It's not even a contest in my mind.

The multimedia drivers for the ATI AllinWonder cards are REALLY flaky. I know this first hand, because it took me a full weekend to get the video capture and TV tuner software working properly on my AIW 9800 Pro. I'd use the 6800 Ultra and get a separate TV tuner card.

I can attest to this with my 9600 Pro AIW

AIW would be really nice to have, if its the same cost then I'd probably go AIW. Although at the same time I'd probably rather have a higher quality TV tuner instead of that which comes with the AIW. HOWEVER it wouldn't hurt to have dual TV tuners... ;)

You will enjoy Farcry HDR, Sprinter Cell3 SM3.0path... go with 6800U, it's more futureproof and perform very similarly.

AIW X800XT!!! Duh!!! SM3.0 performance on current gen nV cards is crappy! IMHO, there's no point in owning a $400+ gfx card if your not going to be playing @ at least 1280x1024 with 4xAA and 8xAniso. AFAIK, there's no SM3.0 game (except splinter cell CT, of which im not even sure) that runs smoothly at those settings with SM3.0 features enabled. If your looking for SM3.0 performance, wait for the next gen.

The AIW X800XT will give you all the gaming goodness you're looking for with a little extra video functionality. I don't even see why there's a debate about this. Performance+Features-wise, IMO, there's no debate.

Can you play Farcry with HDR? oh no.....
Can you play SC CT with SM3.0? ouch

!280x1024 8xAF is acceptable in my book, and I can tell you you are missing some great effects ;)

I currenty own a geforce 6800 gt and an x800 pro and I would say that shader 3.0 is poo-poo. Dont let that be a deciding factor. What is more important is that is the performance difference in certain games.
