Poll: What would you buy? Compaq, IBM, Ollivetti? others?

If you mean desktops, I wouldn't dare to recommend any to you... They are all very nifty and flashy at first and they have plenty of cool and nice software BUT... There are no upgrades possible... This is due to the building of the hardware. Mostly, on such computers, you 'll find everything integrated on your mobo, so you aren't able to change a thing without buying you a new mobo.
If you mean the laptop market, I'd certainly recommend an IBM Thinkpad. They ate very stable and have a gorgious design. I worked with a Thinkpad a year ago and I must say they rock!

I'll go with the "others", that's Me. I'd rather put one together myself since I can pick the parts on my own. Last system I bought from a store was a 286 system.😎
