Does anyone still use netscape??? I have spent hours upon hours trying to get my site to display properly in netscape. While i have fixed most of the problems there are still several more that i haven't been able to fix yet. I'm thinking of screwing netscape completely and just let the netscape users live with the page looking like crap. So what browser do you use the most?

i used to be an avid netscape user.. back when IE was just crashzilla... but eventually moved on to ie.. why? MS implemented dhtml faster, better (altho, i know they don't quite confirm to the standards themselves.. dunno if this has changed tho).

Man Inguyen is right. I used to only use Netscape, but then they released Communicator. After that I used only Internet Explorer and have not touched Netscape in years.

<< IE 5.5, I don't think 6.0 is worth upgrading to, am I wrong? >>

Your probably right. I only use IE6 because it comes with WinXP Beta.

IE 5.5 at home. Some of the computers I use at school only have Netscape installed so I use it occasionally still.

IE 5.01---I had 5.5, but it seemed slower for some reason. I used Opera for a while, but it started giving me all kinds of problems so I dropped it like a bad habit.

Have used netscape off and on in the past but Internet explorer is way better. Netscape takes 4 steps backward while IE just keeps on moving forward. Many people have problems with their i.e. crashing but I've never had problems. Then again these same people have problems with their computer and blame microsoft. 🙂

I use IE6 generally, and occasionally Opera.

I used to be a an avid Netscape user back in the days of NS 2.0, and afterwards 3.0 but after that IE became much better.

IE 5.5 for me. However, like others have said I keep a copy of Netscape on hand for html code testing.

But most of the time I just get the page looking at least half-way decent under Netscape and then say screw it.

If someone wants to experience the Internet to it's fullest potential then they'll wise up and get IE. Why should I bust my ass building two different sites and going though all the headaches codeing for that inferior browser?

If you use Netscape you deserve the crappy page you're looking at.
