You need to put in integrated graphics systems, your going to see a lot of that b/c of OEMs.

I'm willing to bet that ATI makes a strong showing in this poll. Lately a lot of people have been getting 8500 and 8500LE's due to their unbelievable value (91.50 shipped for a 64MB 8500LE at Newegg). These cards run anything out today excellent, and future games ok.

Sorry for the ramble, but I just can't get over the bang for the buck with the 8500.

Edit: Heck, a 128MB LE is 107 bucks... That is just insane.

A very early Radeon 8500 / 8500LE lead. What about SIS? Well I doubt they will be a contender anyways.

Yeah I own an 8500LE 128 meg version and I couldnt be happier!

No workstation class graphics? FireGL or Quadro cards? Even Appian Graphics (which I used to run)

I dont think intergrated graphics will make a strong showing here since most people at Anandtech build their own systems and dont use intergrated graphics. Although Nforce will probaly get some votes. Oh there is SIS! Cool!

From the anandtech database...

Video Card Stats

3Dfx: 359
ATI: 2536
Nvidia: 4880

Although I doubt people keep that updated enought to be accurate, and (obviously) it doesn't give any model distinction.

Oh yeah - and probably half the people here own several video cards, which confuses things.

Another 8500 here, two actually, as my wifes rig also runs one. Nice cards, games look good and framerates are good. Prolly be another 6 months or more before we have any reason to upgrade.

8500 out in front still. What happened to all the Nvidia lovers? Are they buying ATI?

you can't really generalize like that, consider that (as of 48 votes) there are

9 Geforce 4 ti4xxx
7 Geforce 3 xxxxx
10 Geforce2 GTS/Pro/Ultra/ Geforce4 MX

15 Radeon 8500xx
4 Radeon 7xxx

In perspective, its about even on the GF3/GF4/8500 (mid-high end cards) on ATI vs nVidia and on the GF2/7xxx (low end cards) it's weighted towards nVidia.

Only one problem here. I have 6 computers, and 4 of them are ATI (8500 128 retail/7500/allinwonder agp 16 meg/expert 2000) and one Matrox G450 and one Nvidia TNT Vanta. I see other people say the same thing. This is not even close to scientific, as I can't enter all of them or even vote more than once.

i think you should include or break out older cards for non-hardcore-gamers like us...

i.e. "tnt" "tnt2" "voodoo2" "voodoo3" etc.
