I have a Creative Audigy 2 ZS platinum

But for speakers i really prefer my setup, which is a...........

Sony Home stereo (CD,tape,radio) system (hooked to my comp with RCA cables) this has two 8" speakers & 2 tweeters.

Then i have a Panisonic home stereo Reciever with it bridged to 200 watts and powering my JL 10" W2 compatition subwoofer in a triple band pass SRI box (which i use as a foot rest under my desk) and 2 other 8" tower speakers running 100watts ea. off the receiver

Need less to say i can shake the dishes up stairs, and have been called and complained to by the neighbors once or twice. hehe

anyway better than some cheesy little creative 5.1's or something.
 
Audigy & Logitech Z2200. I had the Z680's, which totally rocked, but I really didn't have the room to position the speakers correctly to enjoy the 5.1 sound. The Z2200 sound just as good, but are only 2.1.
 
I have the speakers with a sub from Creative Labs. I have a Soundblaster sound card but when I built my computer I didn't know what I was doing with the card because it didn't come with directions but I installed it anyway. So when I turn on my computer it plays the windows theme song or whatever you want to call it, then defaults to mute. I can't seem to "set" it to not do that. So I don't know if my sound card even works or if it's the one that came with the motherboard that does. Or maybe it uses one and switches to the other...I don't know.

Sound Blaster Audigy using S/PDF
Jbl Northridge Speakers
Custom Built 400 Watt Sub with a 15" Elemental Audio (Car audio anyone?) Sub
It shakes my house and my neigbors...
 
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz
Boston Acoustics BA-735 2.1 speakers
And some cheap (under $5) earbuds for private listening (they don't sound that bad, actually).
 
I bet nobody has a speaker setup like mine...

Audigy sound card with Creative 3300 2.1 speakers for front and Altec Lansing series 100 2.1 speakers for rear.

Could do this because Audigy has front and rear speaker outputs. The surround effect is not bad too...

Got the Altec Lansing for 10 bucks.. hah... why not eh... Its the low end Altecs by the way.. but it gets the job done... so what the heck..
 
I have some RCA wireless headphones. While I'd really prefer a good 2.1 speaker setup for listening to music, my music is hardly compatible with my parents (no, it's not (c)rap or po(o)p, they're just very "old fashioned"), so I'm stuck with these headphones for now. 🙁

Will you stop, damnit? I understand your concern, but please keep it to the DC forum, where it makes slightly more sense than it does here. I wouldn't want you to get in trouble for threadcrapping. 🙂

Anyway, I think a pair of these might be in my future... 😛
 
Audigy OEM, with the firewire port.

digital coax out to a sony reciever.

cheap sony home theater setup from kmart ($300)

75 watts to each channel, 2 front, 2 back, and a center. Then a self-amplified subwoofer.

Just your standard generic home theater setup, the only difference is that I am running it from a computer instead of a dozen different componates.

I use my computer for watching movies and TV and listen to the radio on the reciever or play music thru the computer, so this is my only real stereo setup.

Hmm, there's no option for what I have. A single speaker (other was broken) and mono amp pulled off the curb from various trash days. Music is a waste of time as is any money spent on reproducing it IMHO. ;p
