I've got two choices:

software engineering

forensic psychology

I'm really interested in both. I love making new programs for myself to make shortcuts on my PC (or, trying atleast) and I LOVE psychology and working with the criminal mind.

What would you pick?

Why don't you mix them both and make a website that specifies in online forensic psycology.

2 questions:

1. Where do you go to school?

2. Are those 2 your only choices? Why?

EDIT: I guess that's 3 questions.

You could try to do both. I don't know how much is involved in either major, but I would imagine that you could do a double major if you wanted. It would be a lot of work, but if you're willing to do it you wouldn't have to sacrifice either one for the other.

I go to a community college with leads/transfer opportunities to other colleges that specialize in both.

At the community college, you can start your two-year transfer degree in CS, but most people cannot work full time and go attend the program full time because of how stressfull and taxing this particular program is. I wouldn't be able to do both. Besides... I wouldn't do both anyway.

have you ever had any real world contact with the depraved basketcases that you appear
quite smitten with ? forensic psychology will entail endless gross-out sessions. you'll
be expected to assume a completely dispassionate and non-judgemental 'openness' to assess
the depraved mind of sociopathic slaughterers. being a moral relativist might be helpful
in this field :D

computer work seems so much cleaner.

Yeah, I can be quite "dispassionate" at times. Ask my mother.

<< if you like money, computer science; if you like cadavers, forensic psychology >>

What happens if I do both? *evil grin*

I would have to suggest the software engineering major. It just seems like there will be a lot more options if you go that way...
