We (roommates and I) are constantly using the whole 3Mb cable line that we have.

So that means (theoretically):

3.0 Mbps = 0.375 MBps = 22.5 MBpm = 1350 MBph = 32400 MBpd ~ 31.6 GBpd

Wait a sec - for those that are using 80-100% do you mean the u/l bandwidth or are you actually talking about both up and downstream? I mean, 80% of both is like being Kazaa's pet slave.

All of the download, my line is not full duplex, so if I upload downloads slow down, but generally 100% all the time
