I just installed Linspire last night over XP, and quite love it! I never did much other than email and AIM and IE, so I figured it wouldnt hurt me, and anyways the wifes computer runs XP so I'm not worried, though thats on the fritz! =(

I run 2k Pro at work, which I'm proud of the boss choosing for the new computers, and Linspire at home. Still learning it a bit, and it's very very sleek, fun, and comfortable!

What do you guys all run? And would you ever try Linspire?

I've never even heard of it.

I run 2003 because I got it for free... all my other computers run either XP-Pro or Mandrake.

Up untl two months ago, I was the Chief Champion of W2K...didn't see a need to move to "all that fancy stuff." Well...you can turn off anything you don't want to use in XP and the driver support is nice. XP comes with lots of drivers built in...don't need to load as many yourself. 🙂

The layout of XP takes some getting used to; things are not where "they are supposed to be" but they are there. It just takes some getting used to.

As a recent convert, I really like it. 🙂
