What's Cheney's?

What's Edwards'?

My mom's Norwegian & English, & I've never pretended to be anything other than what I was, a Euro mutt:) Didn't mean to strike a nerve or anything Conjur:(

I was also wondering why I've never seen pics or heard anything about ma Kerry.

I'm still wasting my vote on Nader;)

I have to say, I am dumbfounded by the stupidity of this thread, and its underlying topic. What possible difference could the ethnicity of Sen Kerry's mother make in the grand scheme of things, and why should anyone care?

I'm not surprised that a knucklehead like Rush Limbaugh would try to use what he perceives as Sen Kerry's "Frenchness" against him, but that doesn't mean this board is an appropriate place for this kind of mindless innuendo. Am I missing something here?

Sorry it's not another Swiftboats thread, but I think we'll hear more about it.

I didn't realize where the family euro home was or his ethnicity.

We've talked his religion to death.

BTW, I love the folks who've answered this poll honestly with what they thought.

The man submitted a speech into the congressional record that indicated a different ehtnic heritage? Of course it was prepared by staffers.

@ least I know his wife is an African American, there's no hiding skin color:)

& I'm still voting for Nader :cookie:

No, you're not.

This thread has absolutely NOTHING to do with Politics nor News and, quite frankly, I'm disappointed someone like Pliable would even post this.

This is a crock, and only in America, with a Karl Rove-led campaign by his opponent, could a political candidate be mocked for speaking French. This disgusts me.

None of these articles documents Sen Kerry's complete ethnic background, or proves he has no Irish blood. I know I have a small amount, for example, though I am primarily Spanish and Swedish - Sen Kerry is plainly a mutt, like most Americans.

I find this tactic just breathtakingly empty-headed, mean-spirited, and wrong. I can't believe this is the level of political dialogue in this country. We can do better than this, can't we?

Sorry man, I'm just disenfranchised with all politicians, I think it's another example of politics as usual...

Seems odd that on this forum so many are under a different impression of Kerry's ethnicity than reality supports.

Not thrilled with Nader, but still going to vote for him

It's an example of bullsh*t from Limbaugh/Hannity types and has NOTHING to do with politics.

So you're "disenfranchised with all politicians," but you're aggravating the situation by reposting this kind of nonsense? I think you're not being honest with yourself about your motivations in this instance, since you also started the Silver Star thread, an "issue" I regard as equally stupid and misleading.

I didn't know there were French horses. :p

Seriously, who cares. Anyone who would be trying to use this for any perceived political benefit is fairly stupid as well.

Whatever that means, dumas. :D Disenchanted maybe? Also, a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush. So, in actuality, you're voting for Bush. No wonder I don't like you. ;)

Ouch.

What's misleading about a poll?

The fact that 1/3 of P&N folks are under a mistaken impression of a candidate's ethnicity?

& that the candidate has a speech in the Congressional record misleading folks? (but it was by staffers)

IMHO, he has a moral & legal obligation to have his DD214 corrected & to correct his website.

I guess I'm not so much disenfranchised by politicians, as by voters, who won't vote for a politician that tells them the truth, we're encouraging them to lie to us, if not an outright lie, then by an act of passive omission.

Hell I'm mostly Dutch, everyone hates the Dutch ;)

My guy Ralph.

I live in Texas, if I rigged half the polls to vote for Kerry, Bush would still get all of our electoral votes.

Looks for a link to IE syntax checker, IE spell hides most of my dyslexia;) My ignorance is showing.

Nader rules

BM, you've already admitted you posted this as a troll. Do yourself a favor and stop responding - I'm not going to turn you in, but someone else might.

I responded to the DD214 issue in the omnibus thread, and I betcha I have much more experience with military records than you. Sen Kerry can't correct his own military record, and has no "moral and legal obligation" to do so (and I am a military attorney with experience in civilian federal prosecution as well, so I know from whence I speak).

You haven't shown anything to indicate that Sen Kerry has no Irish blood (other than a reporter saying he's not Irish).

I'm not going to respond again to an admitted troll thread. I suggest you do the same.

Seems any threads that cast doubt on Kerry aren't tolerated here?

I also think you should respect my initial urge to change the poll into a joke Text

The poll results speak for themselves.
