Poll: What nationality are your favourite Tourists??

This is for North Americans and Canadians only and is by no means extensive.

The people you meet from time to time. Either travelling around weighed down by photgraphic gear or living out of a backpack. Have any left you with a particulary favourable impression?

Heh. I live in Las Vegas and I see every type. My personal favorite are the ones who stay at the cheapest hotel in town, play the penny slots, eat at the cheapest buffet, and so on, but rent a Porsche for their stay.

My second favorite are the large globular copulations of Japanese tourists that take pictures of, literally, random things. I saw one actually run out into traffic to get a good picture of a trashcan.

My third favorite is when management for my employer is in town. It's always amusing hearing these millionares whining about how they lost a few grand at the roulette tables.

Americans, they either know everything about the country or nothing at all. They speak unusualy loud so you allways know where they are and can run away if you dont want to be bothered. The ones in their retirement age are usualy very polite.

Ugh...where's none of the above? When you live in a city whose main source of income is tourism, you begin to hate them all.

"Where's the Mardi Gras?" (it's not the Mardi Gras, and it's not like it's only in one place)

"Do you live in the swamp?"

"What do you know about voodoo?"

"You must really like/go to Bourbon Street alot!"

"Where the fsck is a bathroom??? Why the fsck aren't there any public bathrooms in this fscking city?" (um, the city is more than the 10 square blocks that make up the French Quarter)

"Do you live on the bayou?"

"Let's pass a good time, share!" (Literal tourist pronunciation)

"So are you, like, Creole or something?"

Australians... dunno, I've just met several tourists here in Canada from there and they all like it here and are polite and happy!

I like them all When I travel I usually stay in hostels and 99.9% (the 0.01% guy tried to get me to marry his sister ) of the people I meet are really really nice I find that Australian, German, British and Japanese people are the nationalities that like to travel using hostels.
