I'm not a great driver but I try to be cautious and observant. I'd say once a day I do something on the road that I regret.

<< The theory is everyone thinks they are a great driver >>

I drive. I've never had a speeding ticket, but I speed. I've been in one accident about 17 years ago. It was my fault. I've been pulled over twice, the first time was during (or just after) the blizzard of '96. I was at work for 28 hours, all the roads were closed, I was tired, cranky and not thinking straight. I drove my truck to my parents' to borrow thier snowblower (the were in the Virgin Islands on vacation :Disgust;) I was attempting to go home and get some rest. There was one barely passable lane. I wanted to turn left and an older woman (who had no right to be on the road) was exactly where I wanted to go. There was a stalemate. Neither one of us could proceed in our intended direction. So, I gave up and went a different way. As I drove in fron of the woman, I rolled down my window and flipped her the finger. I never saw the Jeep load of State Troopers behind her. I was given a citation for "Disorderly Conduct!!!!!" The second time was just last week. I was pulled over on the Interstate for a non-functioning turn signal. The trooper let me go (he had just pulled over a speeder) no warning!

Maybe not once a day for me but at least every other day.

I am not a great driver, but consider myself to be a relatively decent driver who gets P*SSED at some of the insanity that alot of drivers try to, and more often than not, get away with on the road. I wish people would be more conscientious of the laws and more aware of their surroundings when they're driving. Sure would make it alot safer for everyone! -kd5-

i'm the type of person that just drives. if the road conditions are great and the speed limit is 55mph, i'll drive at a comfortable 70mph, which short sprints of 80mph.

i can't stand people that drive the speed limit in the left lane, and i can't stand when a huge tractor trailer cuts in front of me, and starts to kick up road debris on my windsheild! :|

I'm a decent driver. But, somehow I feel weird whenever I get back into a 4-wheeled vehicle after a weekend of 2-wheeling. I've had my license for 2 years; perfect record, never been pulled over, ex..

Ok, there's one thing that really pisses me off. Someone that is going the speedlimit in the left lane isn't so bad, because I'll pass on the right. But when someone in the left lane and someone in the right lane never pass each other really can make me mad. At times like that, I wish my state would legalize lane splitting.

I generally try to be cautious and observe traffic laws, but sometimes there are just REALLY badly placed stop signs or such that I ignore. I barely ever speed, and when I do I never go more than 10MPH over the speed limit. I avoid tailing people because I hate it when someone is tailing me. While we're on that subject, when someone is tailing me, I just slow wayyyyyy down. If the speed limit is 55 and I'm driving 50 and someone's tailing me, I'll just wait until a no passing zone then slow down to 35. Teach them to screw with me :)
