You need to get a feel. Right so you can pigeon hole people and discount what they say based on your preconceived notions....

No, them dots at the end of that string of words was there to imply an unfinished expression and thus one having both expostulatory and inquisitive intention. I was suggesting what I see behind such kinds of questions and asking you your opinion.
I've found that a "?" is a more effective method than a "...", but to each his own.
Actually, yes I do have a preconcieved notion that the P&N is mostly populated with heteros. In a general population I think the ratio is 1/10 gay, or maybe a little less. So of course that is my preconcieved notion. I'd like to confirm or find something different.
Now as far as pigeon-holing and discounting, not quite sure how I can do that with an anonymous poll, unless of course they decide to reply in a posting as well. I certainly take a different perspective on gays, being heterosexual (uh oh now I'm pigeon-holing myself!), than gays do, being gay. How can they know what I feel, and I they, without experiencing it?
PS: Do you think DealMonkey is coming on to me?

I erased the question mark which I use at first because it was not totally a question. I was stqating what I think is behind questions like yours generaqlly speqking and asking if you see that. Your point about qan anonymous poll, though has merit. I was blind to that datum because I've never voted in a single one of these polls. IF I answer it's always and only with words.
As for DealMonkey, yes I think he is.

Umm, just because some of us can't stand the obvious ill feelings towards gays that some others have, doesn't mean we all like to take it up the poop shoot.
Exclusively hetero here, but I have 100% respect for the rights of other individuals to engage in whatever private, adult, consentual behavior they choose, up to and INCLUDING marriage.
