I gotta say Mirabilis ICQ. I have more than 100 contact in there. Most of my friends uses ICQ. It has neat history feature and integration with lots of other services.

However I am also regularly using MSN Messanger and I love it even better that it has an Internet Phone dialer for free.

AOL Instant messanger: never used before... I guess it is for AOL people.

So, what's your take.
Take the POLL !!

I guess, what is cool about MSN is that, it is integrated with MSN Explorer, integrated with MSN.COM, and even integrated with hotmail.com.

Also, it store its contact database in an internet database, unlike ICQ who makes to restore your database each time you reinstall the program.

Now, I am not sure if yahoo and the other guys are doing similar thing as MSN Messanger.

I use AIM as my main program. It's small and easy to use, and I have most of my friends and family on there.

I have many friends on many different Instant Messaging programs, so I found one that allows ICQ, AOL, Yahoo, and MSN Messager. It's called Imici. It's still in beta form, but it does the messaging and that's what I really need it for. They're attempting to include file-transfers, but that's coming along quite slowly. Take a look at it! It's pretty neet! Linkage

i'm on aim, too. i'm against aol on general principles but msn seems worse. being affiliated with hotmail, msn.com, and microsoft in general just doesn't seem like much of a selling point to me.

I like ICQ but I hate the 2000 versions. I use 99a just because it's a lot more basic and simple and not bloatware. And then I would prefer AIM and after that MSN. I have friends on all of them.

I like msn messenger because it actually feels *gasp* unbloated.

Didn't think MS could do it, but they did. They made a program without a ton of bloatware.

I have ICQ and AOL IM. I guess I like ICQ because it let's me send messages even when other people aren't there. But I like chatting on AOL IM better.
I had MSN Messenger for about a week, but noone I know is on there, and I just don't really like it.
