Perhaps this may not fit in with whatever angle you have designed for these poll questions, but how about adding the EU in as one of the institutions whose confidence level we're examining?
(Yes, I know some might nitpick and ask whether we're talking about the EU as a political or economic body, but the two are closely enough related to be considered together IMHO).

Just a clarification for everyone. These are questions on the INSTITUTION - not necessarily who is running them. IE - if you have a bone to pick with the police chief - I don't care. The question is do you have faith in the institution.
Just wanted to clarify that.
Info - source will be later. It may skew the results. I want people to answer honestly first and then we will compare.

Since this presidency, I have gained a lot of faith in the institution of the Presidency. I think Congress has given serious thought to the power it has delegated to the executive branch (i.e., war powers act). As it is now I think there's enough check on the presidency in our checks and balances system. For that reason, I voted a great deal of faith in the presidency.

I don't do polls.
Since this presidency, I have lost a lot of faith in the institution of the Presidency. I think Congress has given way too much of its power (i.e., war powers act). As it is now I don't think there's enough check on the presidency in our checks and balances system. For that reason, I voted low faith in the presidency.
Police: Great Deal *although I?m always afraid they're going to send me to jail again*

They take the money we deposit, then lend out 10-fold what we lent them. What's that, where did that 10-fold new money come from? Ah that's the beauty of it...
Or Congress needs money, they ask the Fed to print money for them. The Fed pays the printing press a token fee to print the paper, then the Fed takes that money to Congress as a loan and earns enormous interest off it.
Making money out of nothing... It's good to be a banker.

Have you ever read The Creature From Jekyll Island by Edward Griffin?

You are missing some options in your polls CAD. I have 0 confidence in Organized Religion. Some just doesn't cover it.
