If it actually hurts enough to qualify as 'ow, i burned my tongue', then the roof of your mouth is probably burned too... unless you like to dip your tongue into hot substances all by its lonesome I'm more pissed if the roof of my mouth is burnt cuz it peels.. the tongue tends to recover fast. Biting your tongue, however..

Gooey stuff(pizza) tends to burn your mouth, while liquid stuff(coffee) tends to burn your tongue. I don't think I've ever burned both at the same time.

I don't feel any pain when I burn the roof of my mouth, it just peels, I even roll my tongue on the peel to try to scrape it off so I can spit it out.

The only things that get me any more are hot chocolate and pizza.

Hot Chocolate only burns the tongue.

and furthermore, let's assume you DID use proper punctuation... you STILL don't get the meaning across effectively.
