POLL: What is weirder, meeting dates in an online personal ad or chatroom?

Trying to settle an argument with a friend. What is more weird, meeting a person from a personal ad (match.com, yahoo personals) or a chat room (like yahoo city chats)?

I met one of my past g/fs through Yahoo personals.

I don't see anything wrong with it; there's a lot of good reasons for using online dating rather than going to bars or whatever to meet people.

What's even weirder are the Anandtech romances that have happened here over the years. They have all either been one-sided or imaginary.
