Hunt for Red October is AWESOME. You have to watch it a couple times or read the book before you really understand what's going on, though.

i gotta go with The Hunt for Red October for the poll. Crimson Tide is a close second.

Why is that? It really wasn't that complicated.

My vote is for Red October, with Crimson Tide coming in at Second.

Down Periscope of course.

but if you want the non-comedy, then I really liked Crimson Tide and K19.

I have not seen Das Boot though.

For chilling realism Das Boot!

For action in a semi-realistic setting Hunt for Red October (Sean Connery is the main attraction though)
