There's no one "dark side" of the moon. The moon is tidally locked to the earth, so the same face is always pointed at the earth, but it's not tidally locked to the sun, so any given point has days and nights (as can be seen from the phases of the moon).

The moon doesn't have a dark side. At the equator, a lunar "day" lasts two weeks.

From the Earth, however, you can only see one side.

A more accurate question might have been "What is on the far side of the moon?"

Er, what? How is all of the moon dark when the sun is shining on it?
I mean, besides during eclipses where the Earth is directly between it and the sun.

Does that mean Pink floyd was wrong? Or did they write that lyric on purpose for a mind screw?

Worked.
