Since the 14" monitor couldn't handle higher resolutions, I would probably take the slower rig with a kickass videocard that could actually display those higher resolutions.

PIII 866MHz will still get the job done. the two 24" LCDs will make you sport wood every time you turn on your PC

i have a p3 600 with a Samsung Syncmaster 955df and a 1800fp....suits me just fine. The big thing is that I have two 10k rpm scsi drives that still scream 4 years after I got them
