SW guy with a soldering iron. I mean, what happens if that guy goes nuts with it and starts burining people with it? That could cause a lot of trouble. :)

SW guy... who wants a no-sleep coffeed up programmer/gamer/whatever with a soldering iron? :) I mean, really, what's the worst thing the HW guy could do? :p

Now is that an hardware guy at a prompt with root privileges? If so, then I'll take Disasters for $1000, Alex. Otherwise, I'm putting my money on the software clown with the itchy soldering iron.

Assuming the HW guy at the command prompt doesn't have root/superuser/administrator rights, then the SW guy w/ the soldering iron could cause far more damage.

The worse that the hardware guy could do is wipe out data, but any responsible company would have a decent enough backup policy to just reinstall/reload whatever damage was caused.

The guy with the soldering iron on the otherhand...oh man, he could do tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage if he had access to enough hardware and PCB's.

No clue who the last two guys in the IRC channel are.

note: HW guy does have root privliges, and the SW guy does have the ability to open the equipment up (the case isn't locked down)
