Poll: What format for Streaming Video?

Either QT or WM. RP gives great compression, but a lot of times their picture is for $hit

when i encode with wm9, the left 1/3 of the video has a slight green tint, any ideas?

Windows Media will be fine. People will hunt you down if you use Real Media.

While we're at this thread, I have a quick Q. Do I need anything special to stream media from a website if I encode it in WMV? Someone was telling me I need a RTSP or something like that. (Real Time Streaming Protocol.) Then someone else told me I could do it from any site.

Any links or further info on this? I don't mind RTFM 😛

thanks, looks like wmv is the winner since 98% of the site visitors use ie and quality is good for both wmv and mov. 🙂
