15 a month for 768/128... if i was going to be at this location longer, i would have chosen the 6meg/6meg for 120 a month and done some hosting.

No idea, it's included in the rent. Speed is whatever comcast cable is at now...I think they doubled it recently.

39.99 a month for 1.5 (512k min)/384 DSL. After tax and the phone line my SBC bill is $54.xx a month.

Oh yeah, even though it's 512k minimum I get about 1.2M on average.

$45 a month for Comcast 3mbit/768kbit ... I've been contemplating switching to a 3mbit/768kbit DSL line to run a few servers off of though (with 8 static IPs, it would cost about $80 a month)

$49.99 + tax with Earthlink DSL via Covad/Ameritech for the last 3 years. 1500/384 service getting 1345/345 with no DL cap.

Thought about getting Comcast cable but don't like the DL cap. :disgust:

Putting a lid on broadband use

Comcast's policy has proven most controversial. The company's terms of service say only that users cannot "represent (in the sole judgment of Comcast) an unusually large burden on the network." According to a spokeswoman, the company began sending notes about two months ago to the top 1 percent of the heaviest users--people who collectively use about 28 percent of the company's bandwidth--telling them they were violating their terms of service.
