Although I haven't gotten anything from a vending machine in a long time..

i buy another one, so then i get the 2 i paid for, sometimes it takes buying 3-4 to get them all, but i generally plan for that possibility before putting my $ into the machine

look around, make sure nobody is watching. then put my feet in the flapping door, grab the top rear edge of the machine, and rock.

or if you're under 16, with a bunch of friends, and bored: turn it upside down and get the first few rows of everything, screwing over anyone else coming after you.

i buy another of the same item.

our vending machine at work though has sensors that will keep the column moving until it sense that something actually dropped. that's how i ended up with 3 of the same item yesterday, 3 bags of chips were stuck together.

last year in my dorm, the vending machine was broken, so you didn't need to put in money to get the items. all you had to do is press the numbers and the items will drop. i was in front of that machine with a giant box for 40 minutes...
