I hear people calling them so many different things. It's too bad there's no agreed upon term like "floppy" or "CD".

Same for me. :(

I use my dad's though, until I order one for me.

Btw, Anubis, @ amazon.com there's a 512MB Sandisk one for like $45 after MIR. I'm going to pick that one up, lol.

Oh, and I call them a thumb drive or pen drive or usb key because I'm not sure what their exact name is.

Anubis: True, free is always nice. I use it to carry documents back and forth from class, cause I don't have a floppy drive in this computer (and don't really feel like putting one in). My dad uses it to backup all of his contracts and stuff because his laptop was stolen a few months ago (out of a hotel room) and since then he's been kinda paranoid about it. The laptop was returned though, the police found it in a crackhouse and the only reason we got it back was because we knew the serial number.

I just call it my "usb", haha. Or sometimes my "usb drive" or "usb key".

My friend is worse, he calls it a finger.

I call em Flash Drives, and if anyone gives me a "huh?" look, then I go "You know USB Drives" and do a poking motion with my hands...dunno way, just do :)
