Poll: What do I do?

Hey, all.

Some of you might know that I've had some crazy keyboard problems with my Gigabyte GA-7DPXDW-P motherboard. I won't go back into details, but it looks like I'll have to RMA it.

So here's my question. What would you do?

My rig is in my .sig, incase you're curious. If I go single CPU, I would expect it to be appreciably faster.

Edit:

Assuming I can sell my current stuff, I figure on:

2x1800 CPUs: $70
Mobo refund: $200
1.25GB PC2100-R: $200

That's $470 if I build a new system for motherboard, memory, and processor.

These would likely be the replacements:

Intel
AMD
Alpha 😉

You seem to be a SMP type of man so if you got the cash plunk it down on that schweeeeeet dual Operton system with 8X AGP

But if we are being practical I say just RMA the board and then come this fall THEN get dual Oppies once the price drops and the mobos start to come with this wave of new technology 😀

It'll cost money either way but I would say to just RMA for now

Well, GIgabyte said I had a bad I/O chip and that I should return it. They said it's not a known issue.

Thanks to everyone who voted and replied.

Wow, I guess we've got some dual lovers in the house.

I'm going to send it back on Monday. I guess I'll be without a computer for 10 days or so. Oh, well.
