Poll: What constitutes a "Repost?"

A thread that is in "current messages."

If it's only in "archived messages" then it's fair game.

AT grows at an average rate 82 members per today based on some stats Zuni posted. That's several thousand new people by the time a thread gets archived.

I agree, a thread is a repost if it's in "Current Messages" and the thread is aptly titled. If the thread is named "OMG!!! YOUI HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!!oneone" then all bets are off and reposts are fair game.

Thanks for that info aves2K 🙂

Well...there are those thread that get posted over and over and over and over going back a couple of years. Usually someone gets an email forwarded to them and they go, "Hey! Why don't I post this on ATOT for all to enjoy! Surely no one's seen this before!"

😉

At least, though, when I yell 'repost', I'll provide a link.

I think there should be a rule...no, a law punishable by death... that if you're gonna call a repost, you HAVE to post a link as proof

I agree 100%. I hate when people get cute with thread titles that don't describe what the thread is about. btw, when we all have the search abilities that the subscription holders had, will we be able to search for text within threads?
