Personally, I think they add a little something. Take David Duchovny (the only example that comes to mind right this second): regular old DD, no glasses is attractive, but when he puts his glasses on, I think he looks miles better.
It depends on the glasses of course, but I think glasses can enhance your face if you pick 'em right. Of course, I'd also say intelligence is one of the major factors in what I find attractive, so I'm probably stereotyping that people in glasses are more intelligent.
And yes, I usually wear glasses now.
Thin gold frames, smallish lenses. I feel totally naked without them.
