If you had a small business and were looking for a modern web-presence... how much would you expect to pay for professional-looking straight-up HTML design of about 8-10 pages including minimal custom graphics and layout design?
Would you consider $700 a good price? Or would you expect to pay more? Remember, you're a small business owner, not a poor college student.
What if there were a bit of a Flash-integrated menu for it (just pretend you want it) ? How much more would you expect to pay?
I'm just trying to justify some pricing... because as soon as I say $500+, the avg. Joe runs away thinking he could have a website for < $200.
