Maybe not, I think that the highest "rank" of members should be allowed to send in their own personal icons that would have to be approved by the mods or zuni. We dont want some badly made crapy icons here.

all that would do is slow the server down. i think its a great that you are unable to post pics in these forums too, because that way people on slower connections don't have to wait for other people huge sig pics to load.

and btw, a 'Poll' is usually a question. "We should be able to design our own ID icons! " is a statement, not a question 😉

how about we each have an icon (set size - ie. jpeg only, 50x50, etc.) that we host on our own webspace?

I think its a good idea, but would probably be too hard to impliment and regulate.

 

Hosting on your own webspace would slow down the loading considerably.
And if a site is down or file not available you get a nasty red X.
Is there more icon packs for this forum software?
