Decent movie, I don't think i'd buy it though unless it was under $10. It's not one you will watch over and over. Once you've seen it a couple times that's pretty much it.

awesome movie!!! It is especially good if you worked at a record store in your life. When i worked in one, Empire Records was our Ben Hur. =]

hehehe. Our lingo for a shop lifter was "Warren." Ahhh... those were the days.

Hmmn I think SpongeBob might be right, I might first wanna rent it from Kozmo.com to see if I like it.

It was ok. My wife loved it. I only like it for the manager's drum solo and the performance of "Sugar High" at the end.

I liked it. It's just a fun little movie about a record store. It does have younger versions of Liv Tyler, Renee Zellweger, and Robin Tunney in it.
I probably wouldn't buy it on DVD, though, because I would get bored with it real quick.

It was a good flick and I have seen it probably 6 or 7 times (mostly on HBO at 5:00 AM).

Tape it off cable. It's pretty lame and not worth DVD treatment. No one acts this way in the real world.

For a GOOD movie involving a record store, check out "High Fidelity". Killer funny stuff about music in that flick.

I liked both Empire Records and High Fidelity. I enjoyed High Fidelity much much more.

i hated high fidelity, but thought Empire Records was great. specially when you get to see underrated actors like Anthony LaPaglia doin their thang. lucas is a funny fellow (dont know the actors name)

The only reason I watched it was for that cute girl with the long brown hair in the blue mini skirt,man was she hot
