Poll: Ultimate Frisbee, Sand or Grass?

Going to Wildwood New Jersey for a tournament this weekend. It's a sand beach tournament. Had a discussion with a friend about ultimate on grass or sand. I'd opt for the sand for laying out potential. Friend opted for grass for jumping height poitential.

besides ... diving on sand isn't all it's cracked up to be. I've come back plenty scraped & rubbed raw from beach volleyball.

Well the tournament is actually a 4 v 4 with 10 man teams. Lots of substitutions.

As the bumper sticker on the back of my car says "Play Ultimate, Layout!" How can you possible do that as well on sand?

 

why do you need sand to lay out? Fvck that. Balls out all the time, everytime.

Grass. And what are you talking about sand being soft? Sand hurts when you land on it.

grass....freakin hard to run around the way u want to on sand unless you're a dog....

and sand gets all over the place...when u sweat and get sand on u..it's the worse feeling
