Ok , I got the tripplite and it came with a bad battery. Now I see this belkin I can get for around the same price. I will return the Tripp Lite and ether get my money back or get a new one. The UPS have been at costco probably more then a year. So there is a high possibility I can get another one with a bad battery. So which ones better.

bump any one. the tripLite is much older then the belkin so I can get a bad battery.

Please Explain why the trippLite or belkin is better then the other. If you can.
 
I have had 4 Tripp-Lite UPS's on a network over a 10 year period. They keep getting better. Never had a bad battery. Got 'em all from Costco. This model, currently available at Costco for $99 is about as good as there is for 1000+ VA:

Belkin is a great producer of connectors and cables - that is their heritage and history. In my limited experience with them since 1979, they are Johnny-Come-Latelys in the UPS world.
 
Ok, I will get the trippLite one more time if the second one has a bad battery issue also. Then I will be getting the belkin. It got good reviews and 3 year warranty and User replace battery with out voiding warranty

Any direct answer to a choice of two inferior items would be purely subjective. What's wrong with APC?

I just went to office depot. They have a UPS that has 900VA 425watts for 120. Now I can get that but It don't have USB so I cant tell how many minutes left nor can I tell if the battery charging properly. i may just get the cyberpower
 
Office Depot isn't the only place in Miami that sells UPS's. Why did you edit the thread title and poll? 😕

Honestly it's just the opposite.

Even the poll votes in favor of the Tripplite (again) and you still want the other selection. If it doesn't work out I expect we'll see another thread w/ a poll. 😉

the tripplite is bad! there whole stock there is over 1.5 years old. I am not touching that sh!t. Belkins good. If that bad I am going to get the cyberpower or a APC.
 
look at the Belkin compared to the tripplite the belkin got Ethernet protection which I could use. and its still on there site not like the APC or the tripplite both of them don't have the model on there site any more. And Belkin got 3 year warranty. I just got a APC 300VA for my modem and router and thats about it
