Which do you use the most?

Me, I like my trackball. I like it so much I bought another one, cleaned up the old one and brought it to work so I can use a track all day. I prefer the Logitech Marble Mouse, the vertically congruent one with two buttons.

Optical mouse here.. after all the thrashings I put it through when getting pissed at CS, it still works with amazing percision.

optical mouse. I bought one when they first came out for CAD drafting, you had to use a special reflective plate under it. I think it cost me over a hundred bucks...

Used to use a finger driven trackball (this one from Kensington). Its actually more a palm driven trackball as the ball is the size of Cue Ball from pool. I loved it as it was more comfortable than a mouse. Never had to pick up the mouse and move it, just adjust your hand slightly.

Never could use the thumb driven trackballs from Logitech though.

Now I have a MS Optical Mouse since my trackball died (the wheels got so dirty it didn't work properly). Unfortunately, this was before I got into CS and Quake and other FPS so I don't know how they compare.

At time I do wish I had my trackball back though.

Optical mouse here. I've always hated trackballs. Whenever I work on someone's machine and they have a trackball, I always feel like I have some sort of palsy.

I can't stand regular mice anymore..........they neccessitate so much more room and just seem cumbersome to me! I'd take nearly any optical tackball over any mouse!

I use (and really like) my Microsoft Wheelmouse Optical (it's cheaper than the explorers and a little smaller too, which I prefer). And if you hadn't guessed, there's no way I'm going back to regular mice anytime soon.
BTW, as to the trackballs, I just can't stand them. Maybe it takes some "getting used to", but I'm not patient enough to try.
