Based on the other thread, it seems that most people prefer a trackpoint (or pick your favorite name for it) to a touchpad. But how many people prefer it to a mouse?
I think if you were to survey the general population, you'd find that the mouse would win by a large margin, then touchpad, then trackpoint.
