Asus A7V motherboard, AMD 1000mhz Thunderbird, 256mb of mushking pc133 or pc150 memory...
Abit KT7-RAID motherboard and same processor and memory as AMD based system.
I allready have case 64mb GeForce 2 gts, soundblasterlive plat., Kenwood 72x, NIC... Just want some views on some base hardware.

Personally, I have also trusted Intel. I really have never liked AMD. I have heard others in other BBS' say that they have had to return and get new t-birds, but I am yet to hear anyone say that about an Intel chip. Really, it only lies in your preference. If you think that the AMD will work and not give you problems, then go with that. If you want to install something that works through and through (only my opinion), then go with Intel.

My preference will always be with Intel. I have seen nothing convincing that will make me change to AMD. I have tried to keep an open mind about AMD, but I want to say this first: I AM NOT AN INTEL TROLL.

AMD makes great processors, the problem lies with the 3rd party chipset makers. I really wish AMD would start making their own chipsets...Via and ALi really blow compared to Intel.
