AN8 SLI Fatal1ty: 4-phase power, 10 year rated tin-can style capacitors, copper northbridge hsf, card audio module for better signal-to-noise ratio (also makes it super easy to disable if you are using a sound card).
AN8 32X: Doesn't deserve the moniker AN8, is actually based on the low-end KN8 design...has 3-phase power, cheaper 5-year rated capacitors, aluminum cooling instead of copper, standard onboard noisy audio.
I think the AN8 32X is a slapdash placeholder product put out to get SOMETHING on the market to compete with the MSI A8N32 and MSI Diamond Plus......I assume Abit is working on full redesigned product which will be much better. Asus seems to get the new chipsets a lot sooner than it's competitors.....they had a big lead with the first SLI boards, too.
