*** I have seen a few pictures of the Star Wars DVD's over at Ain't It Cool News. Now, this could be a complete joke, but one picture I saw showed the NEW Anakin at the end of Return of the Jedi next to the ghost images of Obi-Wan and Yoda. If that picture is true then I am not buying the DVD's. I was already debating it anyway because 'tard Lucas is only planning to release the Special Edition of the trilogy instead of the original versions.

I don't think people are underestimating it at all. At least i'm not. I know it will be the best seller of the year. That's obvious. I won't be buying it though.

Looks like LotR is the overwhelming majority YES (even though some people will wait until later) and Passion is an overwhelmign NO (although ATOT isn't the best cross section of people) heh heh.

But those damn *SECURITY DEVICE ENCLOSED* stickers fscked up the plastic on the outside of the DVD. Not that it matters though since I'm still getting the Extended! 😀

I'd get RotK at Target. I grabbed the DVD + 6 pack of popcorn + 10 pack of Duracell AAA batteries for $16.xx including tax.

(There is a coupon on the DVD for the popcorn and the batteries)
