What's up with all the same threads as of late? Does no one read anymore?

Having heard both, I'd choose the Tool album. But you've got two other great, possibly better choices. REM also released a new album, and even better yet, Radiohead's new album comes out on Tuesday.

Both are superb, I would make the choice of tool, but it isn't a simple one. The new Weezer is a very good CD, but Lateralus is really amazing.

I think there's at least seven people that voted in the poll that would've agreed with you though.

have both new cds, I'd say for Lateralus sure, I feel ripped spending $15 on a 28min cd, even though its a very good cd, at least make it enhanced or make it do some tricks dammit!

if you're down to those two, gotta go Lateralus...i've listened to Green Album few times and each time it feels more generic

Weezer, then get tool later..:)

Both great Bands, and great Albums

EDIT:

<< and since when do the masses know what music is good? >>

Just, look at the top 5 on bilboard(albums, radioplay is just ugly to look at)...

1. Tool - Lateralus
2. Missy Elliot - Miss E...So Addictive
3. Destiny's Child - Survivor
4. Weezer - Weezer(2001)
5. Janet - All For You

Three , two :) (you be the judge)

Btw 28 mintues of Great Music is better than 70 minutes of crap(John Tesh anyone)...:)

I'd say Weezer over Tool, but you won't go wrong either way. On a side note, I am amazed that no one has voted for "sockpuppets" yet! :Q

I really don't like Staind. There sound is very similar to all the other Nu-Metal bands, except they don't rap. Problem is that their singer has an annoying whiney voice. For some reason, some people think that he is a great singer, but he sounds like a whining chain-smoker. I guess there is a lot of stuff out there that is a lot worse, but it blows my mind that Staind sold about as many albums as Tool and Weezer combined in their first weeks.
