Man I hate this. I screwed up my classes at school; the sequence that is. So in my 3rd year I'm takin sophomore level EE classes. Anyway, I am/was registered for two EE classes. One is the prereq for the other one. I talked to a prof I had last year and he thought I could manage both concurrently. Well, the prof teaching the class won't let me stay in the class 'cause other people want in. So now I'm down from an already low 10 units to 7. One of my classes is online but the other one in an hour a day 3 days a week.
I would take another EE class but there's nothing else I can take until I pass the one I'm currently taking. I'm taking the one elective I have left so there's nothing more to take there. So basically I have to drive 45 miles each way three days a week. I can't decide whether to just take a sh*t class just so that I'll have more reason to goto school. I mean, I'll go anyway cause I want to make sure I learn this stuff but one class just seems like such a waste to spend 2-2.5 hours on the road. Plus, parking at 7:30 in the morning is alot easier to find then at 9.
Input appreciated.

I will assume that you are paying regular tuition and the extra class won't cost you anything. Take something else, 7 credits is nothing.

I live one mile from school and my office is on my school campus.... here's a typical tuesday for me:

get up at 7:00, walk to schoo at 8:30 (15 minute walk), go to class (CS class, I'm a comp sci major) from 9:00 until 11:00. walk 200 yards to work. Work till 3:00. walk 50 yards to a GE class from 3:00 till 4:15. go back to work till 6:00, then walk 50 yards to my evening class, walk 15 minutes home at 7:15.

:)

Lucky you. Work is about 10 miles away from my house, but still 40+ from school.

It does seem like I'm *wasting* tuition but so far the best thing that I can come up with to take is microeconomics. Everything else is full. I don't need the units either.
