This off-season should bring a lot of Front-Runners to cheer for the Mets.

Mind all you Yank Fans: Mets swept a series with their subpar team. K.Matsui owned H.Matsui in that series as well.

Lets Go Mets!

MEET THE METS,
MEET THE METS,
Step right up and greet the Mets!
Bring your kiddies,
bring your wife;
Guaranteed to have the time of your life
because the Mets are really sockin? the ball; knocking those home runs over the wall!
East side,
West side,
everybody?d coming down
to meet the M-E-T-S Mets of New York town!

Oh, the butcher and the baker and the people on the streets,
where did they go? To MEET THE METS!
Oh, they?re hollerin? and cheerin? and they?re jumpin? in their seats,
where did they go? To MEET THE METS!
All the fans are tru to the orange and blue,
so hurry up and come on down -
?cause we?ve got ourselves a ball club,
The Mets of New York town!
Give ?em a yell!
Give ?em a hand!
And let ?em know your rootin? in the stand!

Lets go Mets baby!! Time for some excitement at Shea this upcoming season! Yea.. Randy vs Pedro in the subway series should be great.. BUT the Yanks is the only team that kills Pedro so maybe that wont be so hot 😉

I expect a better year from Piazza now that he has some real batters around him (Beltran, Floyd, Wright). I also expect Pedro to bring some new little friends and they will all play around the bases with Anna Benson.

Beltran is was great at his press conference. All smiles, answered all questions without shoving any cameramen, called the 2005 Mets the "New Mets"! He's gonna be great, he's gonna be a part of the young nucleus along with Reyes and Wright.

Should be a great season! Also the new Mets slogan is "Relentless Pursuit!" um..ok 🙂

Man the Yankees absolutely cream the Mets in every way. Mets are just getting the headlines at the current moment.

Just like they did last year and how they swept the Subway Series...oh wait, didn't the Mets win it overall 4-2?

Let's go Mets! 🙂

I voted Yankees because I live in an area that is about 50%\50% Yankee\Red Sox fans. And it is fun to laugh at the Red Sox fans.

 + fixed.

I think we should accept the fact that Yankee fans love living in the past.

Meet the mets,
Meet the mets
Step on out and beat the Mets 🙂

Remember, Yankees are now Mets daddy 🙂

yankees suck the most, so regardless of the mets suckitude, they get my vote

why is that? becasue we make it back to World Series consistently? and the Mets are no where near the playoff?

EVIL ... PURE ... EVIL

Prior to the 2004 season. AL East has been sooooo weak. Sox didn't have Schilling yet, and Ortiz didn't have the numbers to power over the yanks.

Playoff time, I firmly believe that NL baseball is more exciting w/ more competition

Mets' misery these few yrs ... sums up in 2 words: Steve Phillps

I believe the AL champ game (sox n yanks) is jus as exciting as the NL one (astros and cards)
