I can't decide, Thunderbird is so slick, keeping all my messages separated from different pop accounts (which outlook is a pain to do), however, outlook + spambayes + lookout (search add-on) also is very nice.

Which do you like better and why?

Thunderbird. There is no reason to use outlook, unless you're burdened with exchange.

Plus outlook only runs on windows. WTF?

Either one will do. But I found it impossible to create two different folders for two different accounts in Outlook. It was not a problem in Outlook in Express, but i couldn't figure out how to do it in the other versions of outlook.

"Out of the box" (so to speak) I havn't been able to get Thunderbird's Message Rules to work properly, therefor I am sticking with Outlook. Probably just user error, but I've had outlook working properly the way I want it for so long that I don't see a reason to switch at this point.
