I just finished watching it. They don't actually butcher too much of the TV version, the sex scene with Brosnan and Russo is cut out, but there's really no way they could have left it in and kept it on TV. They apparently either went back and reshot or digitally edited one scene where Rene Russo was topless on the beach, because she had a shirt on in the TV version. If it was done digitally, they did an excellent job of it.
Definatly check it out, it's worth your time. Pay attention to the movie though, you have to catch the first half hour or you're going to be hopelessly lost. I thought it kind of drug on when I first saw it, but the second and third time it didn't seem boring at all. The ending is VERY good as well.
I'd love to have that much money, let me tell you. To be that bored that stealing priceless artwork is your hobby...well damn
Edit: Oh yeah, Rene Russo has pretty amazing breasts for someone her age. The DVD is worth the price of rental/purchase
