Ok, here is the strange symptom. I don't konw if I'm the only one having it, but here it goes.
When I shut down, basically I can't boot back up immediately after shut down. the system won't even give signal to the monitor and monitor doesn't turn on. BUT, if I wait exactly 5min or more after shutdown, I can boot back up fine. I this the strangest thing or what?
I've even tried shutting down and disconnect everything except for RAM and video card(so that I can get into the bios), but it won't work. 5min wait resolves everything and I don't know why.
Does this happen to all KK266-R?
First I thought it was an IDE controller problem. By the way this is my second KK266-R. The first one didn't boot and I didn't konw about the 5min thing so I returned.
I'm gonna try format everything and install fresh OS. I'm also having some problem when in Windows, resources/CPU is getting tied up for any simple task. My guess is that the older KT133 mobo installled the files that are not compatible with KT133A. If problem still persist after raid intall, I will replace with MSI k7T Turbo-R.
Any tips appreciated.
