Poll: Tattoos: when, why, where, what reason, never?

So how may of you have tattoos? Where are they and what was the reason for getting it/them?

I have only one on my calf of a pegasus, got it with some buddies when I was in my second stage of military training. I had a bit to drink before getting it which I don't think is allowed these days

Two on my arms and one on my chest. I find them to be a primitive expression of art because I designed them myself and I have two more that I will get soon.

i thought about it senior year (typical) with my 2 best friends, we were suppose to get some type of asain symbol mark or something representing our friendship. Guess what? we're not that close anymore. funny huh?

I got the cross my first year of college.

I have two. One is a tribal phoenix on my back that I got in Zew Zealand when I was visiting a friend. The other is a volitan lionfish (aka scorpionfish) on my right calf that I got because I am into saltwater aquariums and the volitan lionfish has long been my favorite fish. I think I might get one more, not sure what of though.

2 on each arm, one over my heart, two on my back. My wife has one on each ankle, one on each thigh, one on the butt, one on the left breast, and one on her shoulderblade. I use them as political expression,never love(after having to burn one out with a cigarette over a week because i made the stupid choice to have someones name tatooed and she up and decided to to become a total B*tch and I had to remove the tat) The wife got hers over time as I told her how sexy each new one looked on her.
