Poll: Students-Do you do optional homework?

Some of my classes have optional homework. I like this because it allows me to not spend time doing it. 🙂

I normally don't do it. How about you?

Only if I think they'll provide me practice for the real taxes.

If there is manditory homework and some optional, I would only do the optinal if I needed more practice with the material. If the class only offers optional homework, then I would do enough to get the hang of it and scan for tricky or hard problems.

I'm the same way, especially in math class. It's not like we don't go over everything in class.

yes if it's a class that is important. for example our intro accounting courses were prereqs for the business school so of course i spent some extra time looking over optional questions

Depends. It's good to do if you want to show the teacher that you're a 'good student'. Having that label is good.
