Poll.. Streaming video SUCKS. It should be less restrictive..

I vote that all the streaming video codecs on the Intarweb SUCK. I am so sick of seeing 10 minutes of a 20 minute video only to have it crap out and be unable to have it recover the download. I am sick of so many restrictions placed on a file that it won't even allow more than like 2 seconds of buffering. I am tired of having to watch a 30 second commercial clip for a 30 second video clip only to have the 30 second commercial stream perfectly in high resolution and then have the 30 second clip screw up in sh1tty resolution.

Google video.. YouTube.. etc.. They're all crap. I say streaming video should allow the entire damn thing to be buffered.
 
Note every FREE video host can afford to host files like this


iirc, if youtube hadn't gotten like a 5mill investment recently they would've folded.


hell, I don't think they even make money at all.
