I got the same e-mail. This isn't a surprise as it's seemingly standard practice to "backorder" stuff after a pricing error in order to get more order cancellations - remember the Staples Visor fiasco?

Having odered many items from BB.com that ended up backordered and eventually cancelled, I can tell you that BB.com always sends you a backorder notices at 5 days after the original order and then every five days until your order is filled or purged from their backend system. The notification really measns nothing and is system generated. For some odd reason they need to backorder items in their system in order to cancel orders that would be filled using those backorders? I know this does not make any sense, but it is the way that these SAP based systems work. The people who received the email today are most likely the ones who ordered later and did not have their orders cancelled in the first cut. For example I ordered some of the mispriced coax cables a few months ago from BB.com and recevied a cancellation motice a few days later. I received backorder notices every five days from hem for three months after that until they finally stopped sending them.

I got that e-mail too. Got the cancellation last week too. AND it still says On Order at the order status page. go figure

Noway dude, you're not gonna get yuor Ti4600. I've been given high hopes by BB more than anyone else here. They're not gonna honor the price and will keep saying that the item is backordered for as long as you live. :) It'll get cancelled someday unless, you're that LUCKY. :D
