Which is the better phone in your opinion?

I found that the battery life and signal strength, including amount of memory and button layout to be realy crappy on the a500

but i have limited experience with the LG5350

I've found that a lot of people are happy with their A500. Personally I love the looks, but after briefly owning the Samsung N400, my opinion of that company is ruined.
Signal strength and battery life are supposed to be decent on the A500, but I'll concur -- the interface just SUCKS.

Never used the LG, but they tend to make very high quality phones. I just think the 5350 is butt ugly.

I use the Treo and I think it's the coolest thing ever. :)

LG phone looks ugly.

Their previous model phone had lots of problems with overheating and the battery litterally melting off the contact points. Dunno bout this new 3G model....

I hate everything by Samsung to death and much prefer LG myself. So I voted for it. Avoid things made by Samsung at all costs!

Best Vision phone is still the Sanyo 4900. BTW, Spooner, how did you manage to get a $170 equipment credit?

I own the LG's previous phone, the 5250. It's my only phone, I have no land line, so it's been put through its paces. I've had zero problems with it yet. The calendar feature on mine rocks and I know they've carried that on to the 5350. As for the 5350, you are saving $100 vs. the Samsung. It would be extremely hard to convince me that the Samsung is worth the extra $100. Go with the LG.
